Medical school graduation tomorrow!  

A tangelo - half grapefruit, half tangerine.  Most delicious fruit I’ve ever had.  Highly recommend!  PS what’s with all the hybrid fruit at whole foods? 

Homemade broccoli cheese soup thanks to the pioneer woman! The bf gave it two thumbs up. I liked it even though I’m not the biggest cheese fan. Fun, easy recipe.  Excuse the yummy toasted jelly sandwich crumbs.

Passed my last exam of medical school!!!!!!  This means I offically graduate in June.  Call me Dr :)

Driving home from a residency interview - NYC

Ahh it’s been so long since I last posted!  In that time I did a lot of psychiatry elective rotations, took my practical and written boards and now am finally back living in my own apartment!  Away electives are not only hard because you’re at a brand new hospital, but you’re living out of a suitcase.  So I am exhausted.  

Today is cleaning day for me.  And I’m thinking about thanksgiving.  The BF and I are having thanksgiving at our apartment and his mom and sister are coming over.  I’m going back to Chicago the first week of December for residency interviews so I’ll see the fam then.  Although I should be working on interview-stuff I’m worrying about how many plates we have (not enough) and planning trips to Ikea and Bed, Bath and Beyond.  Last year we ordered the smallest-taster turduken and I LOVED it.  So this year we ordered the big one.  I'm salivating at the thought of turkey and mashed potatoes (pioneer woman style of course).  Woo normal life!

Tuesday is my first interview so here’s hoping it’ll go well!  I can’t belive graduation is so close - June!  Crazy four years, that’s for sure.
